FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CHARLOTTE, NC – July 2, 2024 – Madelyn's Fund, a Charlotte-based non-profit organization, is proud to announce significant mid-year milestones in their mission to support local NICU families across the Carolinas. This year, they have had the opportunity to serve more NICU families than ever before. In the first half of 2024, Madelyn’s Fund has: Processed 713 requests, a 3.8% increase compared to 687 requests in 2023. Served 293 new families, a 17.7% increase compared to 249 new families in 2023. Funded 29 funerals totaling $45,258, a 17.3% increase in funds provided compared to $38,587 for 28 funerals in 2023. Provided $145,693 in total assistance, a 28.9% increase compared to $113,033 in 2023. Columbia, SC, March 25, 2024 - On Thursday, April 18th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Jim HudsonAutomotive will present the 2nd annual Madelyn's Fund Pink Bow Fashion Show––hosted at Central Energy in the Bull Street District––to help raise money in support of Midlands NICU and pediatric families. The initiative aims to give back to the community while supporting local families with infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and those who have experienced infant loss. Last year's #DrinkPinkCLT campaign made a significant impact, raising an impressive $2,941.11 to support NICU families.
